This conference is intended to point a person to holiness. For those who are expecting to find in this conference a list of rules, I will tell you beforehand, there is none. The holiness we are seeking goes much deeper than merely cleansing the outside of our cup (Luke 11:39). We are not seeking an antidote that merely deals with the effects and not the cause of our human condition. We are seeking the Living God. For true holiness does not come from following rules, it comes from following Christ.

The path toward true holiness, therefore, is a path full of life and death, perils and blessings. It is a path upon which you will be challenged, empowered, provoked and crucified. But you will not be disappointed. If it is God you seek, it is God you will find.

Our minds tend to justify everything we believe, whether it is true or not. The final proof that our doctrines are correct is evidenced by our lives. “The one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked” (1 John 2:5-6). The thrust of this conference is geared toward those who desire to experience the holy, powerful life of Jesus Christ.

If your goals are less than Christ-likeness, the benefits of attending this conference will be proportionally diminished. Indeed, no one who is content with himself will stay with this conference. But, for you who apply yourselves to these principles, I entrust you to the grace of God, who alone will empower you toward your goal of true holiness.
