This is a three hour workshop designed to teach couples how to divorce-proof their marriage. The divorce rate has become a national disaster. Many churches are now performing weddings where the couple is making vows to love each other until their love ends. They enter marriage with divorce on their minds and it has become acceptable. People are having affairs and then saying “How did I let this happen?” We will be seeing that affairs and divorce are widespread, destructive, preventable and reconcilable.

In this workshop, participants will learn the three prerequisites for extra-marital affairs and how to be sure they are not met. Then the 12 stages leading to divorce and affairs will be examined along with how to recognize them and stop the process before it leads the individual deep into an unhealthy relationship which ends in an affair.

We will look at some of the needs that husbands and wives have and what their responsibility is to meet each other’s needs. We will also take a close look at love and what love is, it’s components and how to cultivate your love. Also examined will be the languages of love along with five stages of love. Even though this workshop will teach what the needs are and how to meet them there are times when one is married to a person who is not meeting those needs. Therefore, we will also address the question of “What if your needs are not met by your spouse”.
